Dear friends

Just one week ago our first meeting at the institute of legal medicine in Frankfurt am Main was closed by the round table about insect succession on pigs. Well, it was a hard and exhausting week for our department! And I can assert you, I was so tired after all…

But for sure we enjoyed it so much: About 75 participants from 18 countries not just from Europe but also from Australia, Canada and USA!!! The contributions were high-class and it was really exciting to watch all the people talking together about maggots, crime and apple wine ;-) It’s my impression that this meeting will initiate a lot of cooperation projects between many different people, institutions and countries. You know what? I miss you by now!!

Looking forward to meet you in London 2004!!!
