Dear colleagues and friends:
As many of you know, in the last Meeting of the European Association for Forensic Entomology, held in Uppsala (Sweden) it was decided Murcia as the city hosting the upcoming eighth meeting of the European Association for Forensic Entomology. Well, here we are a group of forensic entomologists in the Department of Zoology and Physical Anthropology at the University of Murcia encouraged by the exciting task of preparing a congress that you find interesting, educational, from the scientific point of view, and nice from a personal point of view.
The conference will take place in the Social Centre of the University of Murcia from September 8th to 11th.
We have prepared a program in which besides the usual scientific sessions, a series of conferences and round tables will be offered. We hope all that will be of interest. For the attendees, upon request, a workshop to be conducted on identification of Diptera of forensic interest is proposed in order to introduce specific identification of the family Sarcophagidae.
Soon a web page will be working so pre-registration, registration and abstract submission could be performed; there you will also find the meeting program, information on hotels, airports, travel and so on.
Finally keep in mind the important dates for the meeting organization:

Pre-registration: March 15 to April 25, 2010
Registration and abstract submission: May 17 to June 30, 2010
Fee: Delegate 160€ (after June 30 200€), Student 70€.
